When we pray, what are the important point to take note of ?
1) We address God as our Heavenly Father (Abba Father)
2) Put God first . Place God's desire above our needs
3) We pray for our daily needs
-Matthew 6:11 "Give us today our daily bread."
Why does Jesus wants us to pray daily for the day needs?
-Because our Father wants us to believe and trust in Him daily! -We must come before God in order to be successful, for He will supply our daily needs -Success is in the daily things that you do
-Matthew 6:34 "Therefor do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
-Exodus 16:2-4, 15, 19-20 "2And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness: 3And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 15And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. 19And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. "
4) We ask God daily to forgive our sins and to help us forgive those who sin against us
-Matthew 6:12 "Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."
-1 Corinthians 6:20a "you were bought at a price"
-John 13:6-10a "6He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?" 7Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." 8"No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me." 9"Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!" 10Jesus answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you."
-Matthew 5:23-24 23"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift."
