1) Matthew 28:18-20a "...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you"
2) Genesis 17:10-14 "...you are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you... any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken the covenant."
3) Colossians 2:11 "... but with the circumcision done by Christ" - circumcision = putting/cutting off our sinful nature
4) Colossians 2:12 - the 'new' circumcision is to be baptised by the Lord Jesus Christ
5) Ephesians 4:22 "... to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires"
6) Romans 13:14
7) John 3:3 "... I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again"
8) Galatians 5:16 "...live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature"
9) Galatians 5:19-21 "... that those who lives like this will not inherit the kingdom of God" - the examples of sinful nature (envy, drunk...)
When we come before our Lord Jesus, we will hear one of these 3 responses
[1] I never knew you * -matthew 7:22-23 "...I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"
[2] You just made it through the flames ** - 1 Corinthians 3:12 "...builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw..."
[3] You are great in the Kingdom of God *** - Matthew 5:19
