1) Matthew 26:26-28 "...this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
When we believe in Jesus Christ, two things happen in the spiritual realm 1) The blood of Jesus Christ cleanse us of our sins 2) We enter into a covenant with God through the Blood of Jesus Christ
2) 1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ"
GOD MEDIATOR - the blood of Jesus Christ MEN
3) Exodus 19:3b-5, 8 - The Israelites (men) must obey the Word of God fully; while God will protect and cover the Israelites.
4) Exodus 24:3-8
5) 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God..."
6) Matthew 28:18-20 - make disciples of the nations and baptise them, teaching them all that God has commanded
7) 1 Corinthians 11:27-28 - after we confess our sins and repent, then we can drink the Holy Communion (we need not be perfect(with no sin) before we can drink the Holy Communion)
* JESUS CHRIST DID NOT INSTITUTE THE HOLY COMMUNION TO CONDEMN US OF OUR SINS. INSTEAD, JESUS CHRIST INSTITUTED THE HOLY COMMUNION AS A PLACE FOR US TO RECEIVE FORGIVENESS, LOVE, MERCY AND THE GRACE OF GOD. (matthew 26:28)
